Talks or sessions about M/s or Ownership are sometimes advertised on the Subculture web board. South West Leather Conference www.southwestleather.org, 11-13 January 2008 Southwest Leather Conference in Phoenix, Arizona is produced by Butchmanns and emphasises the interpersonal and spiritual dynamics of D/s relationships and SM practices. It also hosts the Southwest Master/slave Contest. South Plains Leatherfest www.southplainsleatherfest.com, 22-24 February 2008 South Plains Leatherfest is held annually in Dallas, Texas during February. As well as the dedicated M/s track of presentations, it hosts the International Master/slave Contest which is the national final for the various regional M/s contests in the US. Northwest Master/slave www.northwestmasterslave.com, 16-18 May 2008 The Northwest Master/slave contest is now running as a standalone event in Santa Clara, California. As well as the contest, the weekend includes a mix of both M/s and D/s track seminars and Leather/SM seminars, entertainment, n and play parties. South East Leather Fest www.seleatherfest.com, 13-15 June 2008 SELF in Atlanta, Georgia hosted the South East Master/slave Contest for the first time in 2007 (it had previously been part of the Together In Leather weekend.) MASTER/slave Conference www.masterslaveconference.org, 7-10 August 2008 The MASTER/slave Conference is held in Washington, DC during July, and is the only major conference specific to M/s and 24/7 D/s relationships. The Northeast MASTER/slave Contest takes place during the conference. Great Lakes Leather Alliance www.greatlakesleather.org, 22-24 August 2008 Great Lakes Leather Alliance is a leather conference in Indianapolis, Indiana which takes place each year during August. It includes the Great Lakes Master/slave Contest. Masters And slaves Together www.mast.net MAsT is a national organisation with local chapters across the US, all of which organise regular local meetings and other events for those living, or seeking to live, in Master/slave or Dominant/submissive relationships. We don't charge M/s conferences for either of these services, but we would appreciate a link back to TSR or a mention in your event's list of acknowledgements.
